Toffee Marshmallow Krispie Cakes

Ingredients

 

227g Packet of Dairy Toffees

125g Butter 

200g Packet of Marshmallows

200g Rice Krispies

 

1. Grease a 30 x 20cm shallow rectangular tin.

 

2. Unwrap the toffees and put them in a large bowl.  Melt in a 900W microwave on High for 2 minutes.  Stir, then add the butter and marshmallows and continue to cook in the microwave for 1 ½ minutes.  Stir with a wooden spoon for 30 seconds until the mixture is smooth.

 

3. Add the Rice Krispies and mix everything together until they are well coated in toffee mixture.  Spoon into the tin and push into the corners, using the back of a wet spatula to level the surface.  Leave to cool.

 

4. Lift out of the tin and cut into squares.
